I’m Larissa, hands and heart behind Lola Jô Cakes.

Originally from Brazil, my journey to cakes has been anything but ordinary. I have a degree in Industrial Engineering, and I spent years flying across the world as a flight attendant, discovering flavours, traditions, and inspiration in every corner of the globe.

From a young age, I found joy in the kitchen, especially making birthday cakes for my family and cooking dishes that brought everyone together. That early passion led me to study pastry and cake design in both Dubai and Sydney, turning a love for baking into something much more.

Since moving to Sydney, I’ve worked in renowned restaurants as both a chef and pastry chef, experiences that helped refine my technique and deepen my passion.

Today, every cake that leaves my kitchen is thoughtfully crafted by me, from start to finish, with heart, skill, and a story behind each one.

And I’m truly grateful you’re here, whether you’re a client, a friend, or simply someone cheering me on from afar. Your support helps me grow and keeps me doing what I love most.
